On the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, in the eleventh month of 2008 10,000 people joined the Royal British Legion at Trafalgar Square in London for a two-minute silence to mark the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War
Following the silence, guests were invited to scatter poppy petals in the fountains in a symbolic act of remembrance, as the Fron Choir sang a hauntingly beautiful and moving rendition of Amazing Grace, John Hurt read Mary Elizabeth Fry's poem Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep and Hayley Westenra and Blake gave performances to the assembled crowd.
The third Fron Choir CD was launched on the 10th of November 2008 at the Good Morning studio in London
and the Royal Hospital in Chelsea where the Choir gave a concert to the pensioners and staff.
