Cornwall International Male Voice Festival 2017


The Choir visited the Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival between the 27th and 30th of April 2017 to compete and participate in three concerts and returned home with three first prizes!

Scotland 2015


The Choir visited the North of Scotland for three concerts between the 24th and 26th of October 2015, and no fishing!

Isle of Man 2013


The Choir were in Douglas for the Isle of Man Festival of Choirs between the 18th and 21st of October 2013
to take part in the Male Voice Choir Competition and this album chronicles our visit.

City of Derry International Choral Festival 2014


The Choir visited the Derry International Choir Festival between the 24th and 27th of October 2014
to take part in several competitions. This album chronicles the visit and the 1st Prize win in the Male Voice competition!

Ireland 2012

Belfast and Dublin


The Choir visited Ireland between the 2nd and 5th of November 2012
and held concerts in both Belfast and Dublin. This album chronicles the visit.

New York City 2011


The Choir were in the City of New York between the 22nd and 29th of August 2011 and this album chronicles the visit.

Ultimate Collection and Grandad 2011


Decca Records have released a collection of the "Voices of the Valley" recordings
under the title "The Ultimate Collection", which includes a recording of Grandad featuring some of the Choristers' grandchildren. This album chronicles the recording, release and promotional events.

Festival of Remembrance 2009

Royal Albert hall Saturday 7th November 


The Choir together with Hayley Westenra performed We'll Meet Again at the 2009 Festival
as a tribute to Dame Vera Lynn. This album chronicles the event.

The Tower Festival 2009


The Fron Choir and Lesley Garrett gave a concert on the 12th of September at the Tower of London
as part of the Tower Festival, 2009 and this album will give you a flavour of the event.

Voices of the Valley Memory Lane 2009


The fourth Fron Choir CD from Universal on the Decca Label was launched in 2009.
This album chronicles the recording, photoshoots and appearances up to the launch of the album.

Poland 2009


The Fron Choir were in Poland between the 18th and 26th of August 2009 and this album chronicles the visit.

We Are Most Amused 2008


A Comedy Gala to celebrate Prince Charles' 60th birthday
featuring John Cleese, Robin Williams, Joan Rivers, Bill Bailey, Andrew Sachs, Rowan Atkinson and Omid Djalili
Eric Idle - dressed in a tutu - interrupted a performance of Swan Lake at the point where the swan was dying
to give a performance of Always Look on the Bright Side of Life  backed by the Fron Choir - 12th November 2008.

Silence in the Square 2008


On the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, in the eleventh month of 2008 10,000 people joined the Royal British Legion at Trafalgar Square in London for a two-minute silence to mark the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War 
Following the silence, guests were invited to scatter poppy petals in the fountains in a symbolic act of remembrance, as the Fron Choir sang a hauntingly beautiful and moving rendition of Amazing Grace, John Hurt read Mary Elizabeth Fry's poem Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep and Hayley Westenra and Blake gave performances to the assembled crowd.

Voices of the Valley Home Launch Day 2008


The third Fron Choir CD was launched on the 10th of November 2008 at the Good Morning studio in London
and the Royal Hospital in Chelsea where the Choir gave a concert to the pensioners and staff.

Good Morning 2007


The Choir were invited to take part in the ITV Programme "Good Morning", hosted by Fern Britton and Bradley Walsh
and broadcast live from London on Monday the 3rd of December 2007.

Universal Classics and Jazz have recorded a second Fron Choir Album Encore that was released on the 19th of November 2007.

Australia 2007


The "Voices of the Valley" CD was released in Australia on the 21st of July 2007.
On the 9th of August, Dennis Williams, Allan Smith and Dave Jones travelled to Australia to promote the CD
on radio and television stations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane

Classical Brits Awards Album of the Year 2007


The Fron Choir were one of ten artists nominated for the NS&I Album of the Year in the 2007 Classical Brit Awards. 
The award is decided by public vote and this year it went to Sir Paul McCartney for his Ecce Cor Meum. The Choir were proud and honoured to have been selected to take part in the event and to have performed two numbers on stage at the ceremony.

The Millenium Stadium Cardiff 2007


The Fron Choir were invited by the Welsh Rugby Football Union to the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff to entertain the spectators and sing the national anthems at Wales' opening match of the 2007 Six Nations competition
Wales vs Ireland Sunday 4th of February 2007.

A Great Day Out 2006


The Fron Choir were invited to appear on ITV's "This Morning" on Tuesday the 7th of November 2006
and sing Sailing from their CD "Voices of the Valley". These photographs are a record of the day.

There have been several "promotion appearances" by the Choir since the CD "Voices of the Valley" was first announced
on the 11th of October and its release by Universal Classics and Jazz on the 20th of November 2006.
